Bled Castle

We will bring you up to the number one sight in Bled. Enjoy the birds-eye view on the beautifull lake, island and Karavanke mountains. Fresh air and warm sun combined with Bleds history, exhibited in the castle museum, will make you wonder about medieval life at majestic Bled castle. Vogel ski resort

This magnificent ‘Kingdom of Zlatorog’ makes your heart leap in every season of the year. Enjoy the beautiful colours and the breathtaking views. Vogel cable car takes you to the upper cable car station, to a height of more than 1,500 metres above sea level.

Vodnik viewpoint

Start your trip in the lovely tranquil hamlet of Koprivnik. The most famous admirer of the viewpoint was Valentin Vodnik, an important Slovenian poet and writer who was a priest in Koprivnik and also gave the viewpoint its name. Signposts will direct you from the church to the left onto a narrow asphalt road. The road is nicely marked and will take you along a gentle slope past pretty meadows and partly through a forest. From the viewpoint you will see the beautiful Upper Bohinj valley and Lake Bohinj, trapped between the rocky mounds of Rudnica and Studor. There are wonderful benches on the summit - an excellent place for a rest in the sun. If you have brought a snack with you in your bagpack, the view will be even nicer…

Vintgar gorge

The 1.6 km long Vintgar gorge carves its way through the vertical rocks of the Hom and Bort hills and is graced by the Radovna with its waterfalls, pools and rapids. The educational trail leads you over wooden bridges and Žumr’s galleries, and ends with a bridge overlooking the mighty 13m high Šum waterfall

Savica waterfall

Waterfall Savica is the most visited and very well known Slovenian waterfall. The largest stream is in spring and autumn. The waterfall had celebrated in the poems the greatest Slovenian poet, France Preseren. Waterfall Savica is two part waterfall, which is in the shape of letter A. The smaller waterfall falls in the pool 25 metres deep. The height of the bigger side is about 78 metres. The Savica brook has two parts, which are Mala (Little) Savica and Velika (Great) Savica, on which is the Savica Waterfall.

Pokljuka plateau

The Pokljuka plateau offers plenty of sports opportunities and opportunities to explore the local tradition. The Pokljuka plateau offers numerous sports opportunities. The plateau represents a perfect starting point for mountaineering, whilst the cyclists enjoy its beautiful nature, low motor vehicle transport volume and somewhat more demanding nearby ascents. During the winter season it turns into a very popular cross-country skiing destination which also hosts international biathlon competitions.

You must try the taste of the home-made sour milk or cheese, spend the night in a former shepherd's pen and cycle with the wind at your back through the green forests. Conquer one of the nearby mountain tops or, in case you are an experienced hiker, climb on Mt. Triglav – the highest mountain peak in Slovenia
